The Dick Gregory Story
"Fire" is the biography of Richard Clayton Gregory who was born in St. Louis, Missouri, during the Great Depression. By the time he was sixteen Mr. Gregory was already a track star. After a brief stay in the army he started doing standup comedy. His commitment to the civil rights movement would overshadow his love for comedy and his future. Developing the Bahamian Diet, acting, nor traveling the world have lessened his commitment to civil and human rights.
